Early Xmas Greeting.

I'll be spending my Xmas in Japan this year. In fact, I always happen to spend it outside in Spore, in Sentosa, Bangkok, JB.. and this time in a really cold place where I can get the chance to see snow perhaps.

There is also a Xmas tree at our office entrance too!!!

Some food for thought. Xmas is also a day for showing love and care for yr love ones and to those less fortunate. From here, I shall end here with a XMAS greeting card..

MERRY XMAS!!! Dun miss me too much char?!! I'll come back with lots of presents for u friends!!
Secret ~ Ayumi Hamasaki's 8th album

Bought her album last Sat. Nowadays her CD comes with a DVD with music videos and making of the clips.

As usual, fancy clothes, wigs, hot dancers but this time, sexier, bolder .. oh yes, alot of "bling bling".
Watch out for her "Jewel" song, I do think the title "Diamonds are the girl's best friends" suits that better.

very nasty thoughts..

I happened to see a person post this message "Hello, pls help me" in one of the forums I've visited. It was a message from a 20+ yr old boy asking for a job in 2D, 3D illustrations. He mentioned that he has just finished NS and without any cert but an O level only. On asking us to visit his blog, what amazed me is how he described himself;

"Very lazy but have passion on digital art, dreaming of one day to rule the world in the media industries meaning pro in animation , 3d and 2d , and also master in photoshop , can do anything with it."

This is pretty contradicting. If you are lazy, how would you have the passion on digital art? You are just building castles in the sky and dreaming of successing without hard work. Honestly, I think you are just a dreamer. In his blog, he kept complaining that he "drew until his eyes pain" when he looked at the screen for a very long time, as if he wants to get some compassionate marks from people. Perhaps, he just wants some kind soul to pat on his back, praise him on what he did or even give him a job.

Probably you would just relate me to the "Elite Girl" saga whom she wrote in her "uncaring" blog, criticising about Derek Wee's opinions and anxieties on reaching 40 yrs old, worrying abt whether he can still keep his job. The poor girl has been unfortunately slapped by people on her personal statement and being treated as arrogant RJCian, elitist.... and those "fans" of hers are posting her bikini pics, G-cuppers all over the internet.

Anyway back to the little's boy's dream abt becoming a successful illustrator. I once had the same "passions" that what he have now, but I worked hard. Yes, if you mentioned, doing free illustrations, comics etc. Time passed and on realising that those were not my strengths, I decided to focus on what I should head for a more satisfactory and beneficial term ie, earning myself a Degree. Passion, yes, it is a great feeling when you are young. But you still got to eat, you still got mouths to feed.

As the saying goes; Know what yr strengths are, dun talk abt yr passions, work on it!!! Last but not least, I wish the boy find his dream job soon.

EXAMS over.

Yar, 3 open book papers and 1 closed book exam.

I had been carrying my 3kg dictionary for 3 days of examinations consecutively. Feeling sore and numb after carrying, need to buy a light-weight version for the next semester perhaps.

How did the exams go if you asked me? Honestly I really dunno. It did appeared pretty smooth throughout and I did attempt all questions. Because mostly are open book, everyone could be copying the same answers from the text. I wasn't sure about the Urban Planning module cos dunno what marks and what standards Belinda will be giving. She is a very weird lady.. appeared to be smiling but she is marking so stingily behind yr back.

Anyway, other than preparing for the Japan trip, i changed my hp for nokia N73. The Carl Zeiss lens of the cam phone is really god-sent, sharp, precised and the phone fits perfectly in my old phone pouch.

Here's some shots from N73. I am still trying out the functions, esp the different lighting modes.

My "Bible" used almost everyday at work

Harajuku Girls vs Sailormoon

Saw this clip over at you.tube.com. Gwen Stefani sang her version of "Harajuku Girls", which shows Americans invasion into Japanese music market. This clip really brought back alot of fond memories of one of my first collected comic series, "Sailormoon".

Anyway, enjoy the clip, esp on Sailor Venus's unintentional flashing of her white "pansu" when doing backflips.

No Govt Day~

Felt extremely lazy and tired today, not bec it is Monday blues. Mr Elite is not in, DD is not in, D also not in. So, basically, today is a "NO GOVT" day.

Before DD left for his overseas visit at Qatar, he asked me to water his plant everyday. If the leaves turn yellow, he says he will "come back for me".. hehe... sometimes he is really like my ah pa, abit naggy. Yah, I admit I do like to argue with him alot, but overall, I do respect him as my Boss.

There is one time I was pretty upset and pissed off by his statement. I spent so much effort in doing up 3 plans for the presentation but he expected something more. When I tried to tell him my constraints, he sounded impatient and said "I really got no energy to argue with u, what's so difficult in doing this way??"

I felt as a leader, even you think you are right, you should also try to listen to yr subordinate's point of view.

I was sobbing quietly after this, I think he did notice that while i was grabbing some tissues and blowing my nose at my workstation.

2 days after that, I came to him to remind him of a certain meeting, he asked me how's the drawing and how was I getting on. Guess he felt that he had been tough on me at that spur of the moment.

The fact is I am not plainly upset by what he mentioned, but also all those stress from assignments, projects and coming exams. School work has also added the impact to my emotions lately.

I was wondering whether will he get a gift for me there?.. haha.. fat hope :p

That's me in my new workplace. A humble yet tedious position in the big civil servant line. Other than doing plans from my overloaded pc using Photoshop, there are endless emails which I have to clear everyday or else I will hit the limit and will be given a warning. Have to fill in the time-logging too, so they will know how much man-hours are spent on each project.

Other than drawings, photography, detailings, information seeking, I also have to do PA duties for DD in arranging his calendar and remind him of certain meetings. Life is tough and everyday I just dun feel like working. But with helpful colleagues nearby (no.. not that asshole who always ask me to do things for him and never helps me in return. He is quite an elitist actually, vain and selfish too!!), I still perceive the hope that one day our section will perform well and do ourselves proud.
The same problem again..

Where's all my testimonials???

Asshole!!!!!!

I take back my word on falling for the younger guy mentioned earlier. He has a very steady girlfriend already (saw his friendster) and yet he dare not tell other people that he is already attached. Sometimes, I really find that he is like "da shao ye", asking me to bring things to him, this and that and he is also the type that will not lay a finger to help. If he knows you can do, he will push you to do and he reaps all the benefits.

He simply has this tendency not checking my work... if things goes wrong, he will say it is my fault because I did those my own without consulting him.

Hmm... maybe next time I should consult him on the methods to do instead... just pretend I dunno and take instructions from him.

He shall learn things in the hard way. heee hee...

The MRT sucide case that happened recently make me ponder over the amount of poverty in Singapore. Putting such signages doesn't seemed to stop this. Sometimes, we do not really need things to happen then lending a helping hand. Of course, there are donations around asking help, but do all these donations ended up with these people?

Hasn't been feeling alright these days, been sleeping late and not enough rest. So what's the point of working so hard when you fall sick and you get to claim only $10 from yr medical fees. (Medical costs are getting higher recently.)

My Brother told me " To gain something, you got to put in more effort." Give more, you naturally receive something in return in future. I tried to be nice in work but it seemed pple are just taking things for granted. I can no longer differentiate what are nice gestures or what should be my duties. I only know there are some people in the office who do not really like my frankness and harmless remarks. So, it's still better to be humble than being frank or simply shut yr mouth even you know something is not right.

Sometimes I felt that I'm just not suitable for working life. Or simply, I can't be put into a cage of "graceful" people.

Bad mood days...

Recently, I've been sick, caught a flu and feeling restless. Missed 2 days of work and school and seen 2 different doctors, western and chinese sensei. Visited Chinese sensei bec I dun really like to take western medicine, it just makes u feeling groggy but bo bian have to visit to get that stupid mc (govt job cannot claim tcm issued ones).

How ex my medical treatment became and the most I can claim is max$10.

I hate being sick now. Really not fair.

Anyway, I find myself working too hard for nothing.

Then another sickening thing came, I received a call from Novena furnishing centre's delivery guy, he called me to inform that he is already at my house doorstep to send me the computer chair I've ordered last Sat without informing me in advance. It just happened that my Aunt and my cousins went for their afternoon swim at Tampines swimming pool. The stupid delivery guy complained that I delayed all the rests of his delivery (I think he is fasting...) and he said he has to deliver all before 6pm. So I told him to bring the chair back and deliver another day.

Being pissed off, I called the Novena furnishing centre and complained to them that the delivery guy is very rude. Gave me wrong handphone number and dare to argue with me somemore.... The helpful staff tried to call that guy to negotiate with him but he turned off his handphone..

Such attitude!!!! I wish him the BEST in HARI RAYA PUASA...

In the end, I can only get to sit on my new chair next Thurs.

Then just now, I received a call from one of my ex, he threw me a "pink bomb".
What liao.. wat a day. Anyway, I dun really consider to attend as we are no longer in touch and he sounded like hungry for some ang pows to cover his banquet costs.

Did I ever mention that I do not like attending wedding dinners????

Something pissed me off again...

Written by Mr B.

Dear all,

I think we are all adults and know what to be done for the project. Our responsibility as well. However, thanks Ms Moon for the effort to organise the whole thing and put everyone on the 'deadline'. It seems that however, the deadline is indeed important but I feel that what's more important is the quality of the work produced and morale of the whole team which at least, to me, is even more important.

Don't worry, Ms Moon.

I believe sure, that everyone will do his/her best effort to the goodness of the team.
We will definitely be able to come up with a good quality(not only in quantity) report by the 27th.

Thanks...and Cheers!!

Well done mates and keep it up!

Regards,
Mr B.

Speak it for your own self, what were you doing when we are discussing, you were doing something else and shutting yrself with earphones stuck inside yr ears.

Being with a bunch of pretenders and lip-service providers just made me older everyday.

The problem of being in the wrong tutorial groupings

I was saddened by one of the group member's email that she dunno what she was supposed to write for her part and she requested me to write instead. In fact, I've already uploaded the reference, all she needs is to spend time to read and analyse.

Dear all,

I will be editing on my earlier portion. As my earlier email, can Ms Moon elaborate on the Trust Knowledge and Connected?

Guess we are all quite clear who should do what and in this group, there is no leader as we are all working together for a project. We will go through together for the power point presentation slide becoz its not one person entity. I will still discuss with Mr B on the executive summary portion.

pls use this file instead as i changed the names and added something.

regards,

Ms R

Obviously, she has been quite disturbed that I have asked the group and delegated the tasks evenly. Yet, she still believes in being the "BIG SISTER", being nice and sweet to the rests ( they were very close btw) and asking me to do her tasks. She did not seemed to push those group members who are slacking, not doing anything and I have whole-heartedly planned all the tasks, printed out the references and distributed them among ourselves. And she even says "There is no leader in our group.." it makes work so unproductive and everyone's waiting for things to happen...

Ms R, I dun believe in spoon-feeding. Pls stop sugar-coating yr words and cover up for yr bunch of slackers. Yes, this is a group and we shall be doing things together, but we need someone to do planning too. Or else the process will be too repetitive, 100% input, 20% output.. :(

I endured the fact that I was forced to join them this time round and I shall not group with them anymore.

Anyone wants to watch DOA? The movie is out and it is funny to see these "ang mohs" inpersonating anime/video game characters. Lots of fan service and silly Caucasians playing with samurai swords.

Just look at the huge differences between Devon Aoki and you know... doesn't mean that if you have japanese blood you can get to play the voluptous, sex symbol of Kasumi (above). Basically, you need to look cute and sultry.

PSI 150

Scene from Clarke Quay (taken on a bus)

Looks like that man is gasping for fresh air under the heavy pollutants.

Of course, the air is indeed different from the air I'm breathing at the "waist" of Mt Fuji.

Pic is blur bec it was shot from an old photo album (2000).
I'll be visiting this place soon in Dec.

So glad that the air cleared up today when I woke up. :D

Could it be.........??

It's amazing how you feel for a person you have only known for around 2 months.

Besides having site visits together, working on the same projects, sitting in the same car with him (he was the chauffeur, I'm the navigator) a few seconds in the same lift with him alone and not saying anything and trying to argue and talk him out in a heated discussion, I find myself not able to resist from falling for a younger guy again.

I shall restrain myself from today onwards then.

"Nihon jin desu ka?"

A cute japanese gal asked me this question in the EastPoint foodcourt yesterday. Her family was with her, she probably popped this question because I was having the same japanese set meal at the next table.

I shook my head and told her no.

She asked again in English, "Do you understand Japanese?"
"Yes, abit. Just now you asked me whether I am a Japanese rite?" Honestly, I was abit flattered.

She smiled and looked away, telling her daddy that I was not Japanese.

It seemed that Japanese thought all looked the same and most of the time they will mistake us as their nationality. The mainland chinese also could not really tell the differences of chinese from malaysia, chinese from china .. Taiwanese etc... And if you happen to use yr chinese name in workplace, they will think that you are from mainland China. It sounded rather insulting as most of the time, locals relate mainland china gals as "xiaolong nu", foreign workers or other negative acronyms. There goes the same to those "pei du ma ma". I really pitied them but yet, I do not really support the idea of them working in "sleazy" areas like "foot reflexology health care centres", which obviously are not meant to be.

To me, some China gals are hardworking, but appeared rather aggressive. Singaporean men like them because they are fairer, more feminine. What could the reasons be? Some were saying Singaporean women prefered ang mohs, or Singaporean men are just not good enough.

~~~~~~
Some random shoots over the weeks.
It is Children's Day tmr, happened to see this Children's Day carnival at the Expo.
Entrance's free.
Guys, pls dun do this... it is either you got big balls or you simply disregard yrself as a gentleman.
While on my way to NUS, I took this picture of the future NUS new town. We are supposed to visit this place for the school project.
Brother playing with XBOX, WorldCup all day. That's the game where you can never get tired of playing.
Finally, the IMF is over. What have we gained this time?
Wow, how time flies.
It has been 2 months since I've started work in the new place. Looks like I am slowly getting used to the civil servant life. Well, this is also a place where you can get to travel to other parts of Singapore to explore areas you have never been before. And not to mention, my photo taking skills have improved too. I am now able to capture panoramic views using the office's Canon Powershot. In some circumstances, we also organise some outings in the day to visit some secluded areas like Bukit Chandu, Sungei Buloh.
Tired but contended. :)
This morning, Evonne jioed me to the NATAS Fair at Expo. We are supposed to grab some info for the Japan tour. It was postponed 2 years ago and finally we had managed to book it this time round!! It will be a 7 days trip to Honshu, which consists of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. We will be spending our Xmas there too!! Hee... what's got to be like for Xmas there? I remembered I've always been spending my Xmas overseas.... Bangkok from a company's trip, Johor Bahru with friends and this time round, in JAPAN!!! Hee :) How romantic...
Hmm, but firstly, I have to "kill" all my exams first, which will be coming in this coming Nov. The tutorials, assignments too.
Group Projects
It is extremely difficult to work in large groups comprising of different people. I am not saying that I am anti-social or doesn't wish to share anything but given the short time-frame, it'd be better to sometimes do things yourself rather to waste time editing another person's work.
There are other typical factors that lead to project success/failure
1) Proper time management - With less people, there will be less time management. Because everybody's time is different, it is difficult to make everyone meet for discussions. Some wishes to spend less in tutorials, some wishes to spend more. Some have to go for their family activities, some have friends gatherings. Some sacrifice their time to work while others simply do not have time to discuss.
2) Lack of a good leader - Leaders plays an important part in the team. He/she is able to see the strengths and weaknesses of each team member. Forming a team structure is also essential, by delegating the right job to the right person is the next.
A leader is also a person who earns respect from the rests and he/she sets the group's objectives right. He/she must also make the right judgements and forsees the outcome when decisions are made and shall be responsible for whatever consequences are to come.
However, I have yet to see a good leader.
Testing~ Uploading pics at blogger
Yes, I've uninstalled Mcafee and installed Norton instead. Mcafee literally blocked all my pop-ups, including those pic uploaders from blogger.
Things have turned up much better with the new software. I am at ease now.
Now back to my studies.
No one will be able to see you sweating, doing the measurements, taking photos under the hot sun and using Adobe to draw stupid plans for the whole day.
All they care about is the final planning brief and some smart aleck to present to the boss when she is in the good mood.
I dunno what happened to my laptop
Haven been updating since my laptop was infected by the sasser virus. It turned out so bad that I had to format it and reinstalled everything. I also had problems in accessing into internet and typing into those feedback in IVLE. I even had problems in adding pictures into blogspot cos it kept popping out "Popups are blocked" message below the bar even though I've turned off my popup blocker.
I'll be shifting house soon btw.
"Funnie" Director... and the Director who takes MRT
As a newbie, we are invited to have meet-up sessions with the Heads of each Divisons. Other than not remembering their names, I seemed to have forgotten how they looked. Only can remember those with mole on face, receding hairline, round tummies etc....
Anyway, I had a quite a memorable encounter with one of the Directors.
His first question to me was "Is your stationery provided for you on your first day?"
Secondly " How about your wastepaper basket?"
I told him I do not have as I was sharing it with my neighbour, he then related me his first day of work here as a newbie back in the 1990s. Felt ridiculed by carrying his waste-paper-basket and other stationery from the stationery central store to his work-stations, (newbies have to collect their stationery from the central store) he felt the urge to change the old system to a better one.
There came a day when he became the Head of the Division, he asked his staff who their customers were and what should be the service quality like. They answered that their "customers" are the fellow staff who had just joined the association. He questioned back:
"If they are your "customers", why do you let them carry waste-paper baskets around on the first day?"
I guess improving service quality is not just lip-service but action taken to improve things and moving on. He made it work. If it didn't, I'll probably be carrying my waste-paper basket around in the building. If he hasn't been hit by this ugly incident, probably things won't change. He also urged me to be a "spy" to feedback to them that anything that needed to improve on.
I'll probably keep that in view. It is not too right to be so frank and open in the first few weeks.
There are old birds that served the company for more than 15 years, technical staff that came to work early and went back on the dot. Most of them are loafers and you can see them walking around, mingling with aunties & uncles in the other divisions. Who knows, probably they have finished work long time ago and their superiors are too busy to assign them new ones.
There are also alot of meetings with other Stat boards. One of it is with Nparks. We are also asked to fnd out what kind of trees are planted in our area of research during the planning process. I can't even name the vegetables my aunt cooked for dinner, still to ask me to recognise the type of trees Nparks planted..... Siao...
I guess Director are quite well-to-do, driving big cars etc. While I was on my way back home(not on the dot, mind you!), I happened to spot a familiar back, hairstyle, laughter in front of me. Only thing is his work-shirt is kind of yellow and carrying quite a tattered-looking sling bag. Later did I realised I was taking the same train with our Divison's Director. After a casual chit-chat, he told us that he was going to Toa Payoh (he lived in Tanah Merah) and dun usually go straight home before this.
Hmmm.. visiting his mistress??? (heeee...)
MUAAAHHAHAAAHAAA... the GYM is all mine now!!!!!!!!
It's 6pm and most of the staff have gone home. The place is usually more crowded during lunch. The gym at level 5 is such a splendid place well-equipped with the latest threadmills, cross-trainer machines.
No need to slurge on expensive branded fitness clubs!!!
Honestly speaking, you won't sweat that much in an aircon room. The temperature here is even cooler than in the office. But toning up your muscles is fine enough.
School will be starting soon on 14 Aug, as usual, I'll be taking 4 modules. Can't really afford the 5th one because of money and time. Getting ready to kick-start my Year 2...
*ps: I dropped my hp onto the floor during lunch and water from my bottle seemed to have leaked into it. Time for service or change of phone... :(
Please pardon me if I kicked you out of msn...
I've been using meebo.com recently. It is certainly a more useful online messaging, merging msn and yahoo messenger into 1 window. But the company's server's firewall is too strong to detect such a useful program and I find myself offline suddenly when receive messages from friends.
Ever heard of the story of "putting your eggs in different baskets" so you won't cry when you one of the baskets got crushed? You can do it in stocks and shares, properties and other non-living things but relationships... no no no... I have this friend whom I think I have a slight liking on. I think he is doing the same thing (putting eggs in different baskets) which appears really insincere to me. Thus I decided to let go.
I am not really a greedy girl. If he has to be my guy, he must be thinking of me all times and not certainly thinking of other people. You may call unreasonable but that's all gals are. If there is a slight unpleasantness I feel about him, it means that he can't be my guy at all.
So next time when this friend comes back and ask me out for a date, I think it is going to be a waste of time, I'll probably kindly reject him then. Because I really can't stand his emailing system... I can't really describe how "despicable" it is.. he actually "bcc" to his friends so none of his friends know who he is sending to, reminds me alot of my ex-boss's fishy doings.
I name it "despicable".
I also felt he msned me because his other friends were no online, I was the only person whom he could complain to like a "punch-bag".
Sometimes I really cannot understand what he is thinking of... or treating me as.
I guess the answers are clear and I've decided not to ponder over what he is thinking of now.
Changed my blog into "moonprodigy"
Yes, "moonflyer00" sounded so lame. I think I should close the illustrations comics website too (cos not much updates there)
Spent a week of work at the new place. It was an entirely new environment for me and I was to clock-in and out everyday. I had to make sure that I had fulfilled the 8 1/2 hrs per day (except for that 8 hrs on Friday) before making a move back home or to class.
Being a Planning Executive is a cross between a technical officer and a planner, which means I have to perform both duties at the same time. I happened to meet my senior, (Wei Ling, she was my senior back in Secondary School) in the new place but she's moving on to pursue a Masters in Public Adminstration in NUS and leaving in a couple of days time. She told me that the way to "survive" here is to have a positive attitude and never stop to ask people questions and consult the others whenever in doubt. No one is there to spoon feed you with information, you got to find them yourself. The system was made in such a way that staff should have no problem in looking up those answers in the intranet.
Of course, govt development plans are quite sensitive and confidential that we are all forced not to disclose any of these information to outsiders. We are also not allowed to leave our documents and drawings around unattended and being spot-checked randomly.
I felt like a prisoner cum spy now.
Well, here's a pic of my new colleagues and environment. My senior is the girl sitting down with the gift on her hand.
I'll be joining a new division that consists of small environmental improvement projects and overseas consultations. Of course, I'll not be posted overseas.
I'll describe more details next time as I'm quite shagged after a trip to JB on Sat.
I'm addicted to unemployed days....
Clubbing in mid-week (Wednesday's Ladies' Nite.. Yeah!!) , sleeping late, waking up late, rolling on the floor in the afternoons, having brunch, these are the everyday events I'm having when I'm not employed.
Finding it a waste of time and seeing my youth withering away, I bought 2 books from Popular bookshop. I promised myself to at least read up 1 book before going for my next job. I took up the book from Neil Humprehys, the ang moh expatriate who was trying too hard to be a Singaporean. Frankly speaking.. I still prefered Mr Brown's stories.
Another book was The Da Vinci Code, yeah, call me a late-bloomer, I'm a sucker for book fashion.
I also met up with Jeline for shopping and movies. Saw Hanse and his group performing at Civics Plaza, those poor things, suffering in the poorly ventilated, hot tent at Takashimaya. We then moved on to movies at Cineleisure.
Jeline wanted to watch Pirates of the Carribean... I wasn't exactly a fan cos the first movie did not really impress me, so I suggested Basic Instinct 2 instead. (anyway, that's the movie avaliable around that time). It wasn't as good as the first, cos Sharon Stone's too old to be sexy. But her killer looks and stares captivated me, heee...
Being cheeky, I tried this.
Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct 2
Me at home imitating a killer's look
".............................."
I know what you trying to say..... just keep it to yrself ah?
Sharon Stone once mentioned that she let herself aged naturally, she said "no" to botox and face lifts. It appeared that she put on too much makeup. It was also rumoured that she went for a face lift and botox jabs just for this show. Anyway, she was 47 already (same goes to Madonna who is 48 this year.. a HOT MAMA indeed!!) and she still looked good in the movie. Only thing is this sequel came out too late and most of her fans have already forgotten about the first movie which made her famous.
Yes, her notorious "upskirt" shot when she crossed her legs ... :D I still remembered that.
When all Singaporeans are talking abt how mr brown's column has been suspended, I am still lazing around no where.. thinking of my new job.
I'll be starting my new job soon on 24 July 06. I guarrented that life is going to be more interesting over there. BTW, school will be starting in Aug and I have 5 modules to clear!!! Siao bor??? Heard that one of it is an online module, so I dun really need to waste time travelling to school.
Sue me for my overdose of cuteness... I couldn't resist myself to buy pinkish stuffs and things that I was overaged to have. I bought a new curtains at the wholesaler shops at Beach Rd, they aren't the drape types, just hanging mobiles that looked like curtains.
I gave the "Hello Kitty" one to my cousin and I kept the butterflies...
Oops.. my eyebags are getting from bad to worse!
I even bought a cute mouse that contains water and lights changes every 2 seconds....
From green....
to blue... then to red :D
Cute hor?? Of course, it isn't as sensitive as a Microsoft mouse that i use for drafting.
More stuffs to be updated next time!
Let's talk abt SEX...
hey, we're adults liao, i'm sure this ain't a new topic to you.
I was quite surprised to see the the Okamoto advertisement in the MRT train on the way back home. There is also a contest it it, the prize is free, unlimited supply of okamoto condoms for a life-time!!
Just Kidding.. :D
It wrote "Made in Japan", "Made of Sheerlon: One of the World's Thinnest and Strongest Shield". It also mentioned that it is the No.1 brand in Japan, it'd sure it's effective as Japan has one of the lowest birth rate in the world.
Ok, back to the kinky topic about Sex.
I was discussing about it with my aunt in the car on the way to my grandma's birthday lunch. My young cousins (siblings : the boy was 11+ and the girl was 10) were also laughing when we were discussing the hot topic. These young kids were taught of sex education since Primary 4 but sex to them was still very vague and imaginery.
The girl asked her Mama "Why is there strawberry flavour in condoms?"
The boy was kaypor and he exclaimed " So, they will feel "shiok" when smelt of strawberries.."
We chuckled and our chauffeur (my Bro-in-law) even couldn't resist in laughing out loud too.
I remembered that we were only taught of sex education in Secondary 2 during our Home Economics class. It was boring cos it was an all-girls school. Our teacher only showed us some heavily censored diagrams and text-only-descriptions on the topic. I envied my Sis whom the school showed them porn video... haha... no la.. at least she mentioned there was a topless scene.
One of our classmates happened to bring a pack of condom and showed it to us. It came free from a branded T-shirt she bought. I remembered it was Colours of Benetton .The stuff was packed inside a bluey liquid. My friend even said I was "mountain-tortise"... never seen before. There was once she even mentioned her boyfriend tasted his own semen before and he said it tasted like seaweed.. (0_o)?? Or probably she was the one who tasted his???
Times have changed and young children were more aware of this topic and it is not surprising to know that a 10 year old girl will tell you where the porn sites are. This is getting abit scary.
Sex jokes have always been popular. This morning, I heard the 95FM DJ ( I think is Vernetta Lopez) said "Your gu-gu jiao is broken" in the National Radio, of course, it meant to be a joke. She was also trying to lure Aloysius Tan to pronounce the term too.
FHM, Maxim in Spore sell like hotcakes, actually with not much content but strong graphics with little words. In another 2 years time, i bet the Govt is gonna allow Playboy, Penthouse in the publishing. Frankly speaking, I like movies with M18 theme too. It'd kind of enlightening the moment. As usual, sex sells.
Durians now 3 packets for $20!!!
Damn, should have bought them now. But the weather's aint too good to have such heaty fruit.
I passed by those foodstalls (East Point) everyday and business ain't good. It's Singapore Food Festival and every mall seemed to have a mini event as well. Heard from Auntie that Tampines Mall having a Hokkaido food fair too and people there are crazily testing out the samples. It has been a busy season with major events like World Cup, GSS and SFF.... and the fact is, my purse is getting lighter. I've been spending far too much nowadays during my break ("squandered" off on buying Kose products), hey time to save up for my school fees for next semester!
Too tired, time for my beauty sleep. Shall continue later. (yawn~)
I wanna be a BAD GIRL...
Friend asked me why I went Devil's Bar? It was meant to be a place for bengs and lians. Messy place it is...
I told him I was not a "Lian". Just a normal girl who wants to relieve stress and observe new things. I am not going there to mess around with people, smoke, have ONS, kind of stuffs.
Many people have the impression that clubbing is a BAD place. Just because they never been there before or they had unpleasant experience there.
To admit something, the only thing I dun like abt the place is the smoke.
I dun smoke and I think it is too expensive to be a smoker. Just imagine, a pack of cigarettes costing the same to a meal... would u rather eat or smoke?
I do not think smoking is a sin and I dun hate smokers. I am just sensitive to smoke and will sneeze non-stop when it gets into my nostrils. And kissing a smoker feels like you are eating barbecued meat. Plus smoking causes cancers. However, Research says that non-smokers contracted cancer more than smokers from breathing in the 2nd-hand smoke.
Ok, back to the topic of I wanna be a bad girl, because being good is boring. Being bad has its attractiveness. It explains why singers, rock bands and gangsta rappers are so popular while earning big bucks.
But still, I dun wan to smoke to become a bad girl... :-( So being a bad girl is more difficult after all.
Today, my aunt, cousins and I went swimming at Tampines again. The weather has been quite hot and sweltering and alot of people made a dip into the pool. Bikinis are a common sight nowadays. Girls have been wearing lesser than before. Saw some china girls there, they dun really swim, just stayed in the pool to suntan.
After the swim, we saw this man selling ready-packed durians at East Point, not D22 or D something type, he named them "山猫王“ 榴连.
He told us the durians are grown in high mountains in Johor where there is no pollution, no pesticides used and no ants... I scratched my head, found it amusing & impossible to believe what he has said. He sells them for $18 per packet. What the hell! Because my aunt wants to get some for my uncle, she thought of buying 2 packets to try but lacking of cash, I chipped in some for her. I told the Durian seller;
"Uncle, this is all we have ($22) , if we go and draw money, we may not come back again.... and the time is getting late, seeing u still left with so many durians, dun think you can sell all finished...."
He sold us 2 packets for $22.
I was BAD yar? Haha, but that's the way people do business mah. A willing seller and buyer.
Not to mention, the durians do taste real good. :-P
RANDOM TOPICS
Curious over medicure and pedicures, I went to try out at NAIL PALACE for the promotion they are having currently. For pedicure, it's $36 and just for adding another $2, you get medicure!!!
The service was pretty good ..... I've also noticed that the newcomers were practising how to apply nail polish on paper templates, just like what we were doing in primary school! Haha.. For the nail colour, I chose a colour that is translucent, glossy yellow (well, yellow is one of my favourite colour) but it ended up in GOLD colour instead!!! Well, my nails are obviously too short to show it here as I've cut them recently. Dun worry, I'll show them next time when they got longer.
Heee.. I am a GLAMOUR GIRL now. :D Just imagine I'm carrying 916 gold everyday on my finger and toe nails.
Also went to DEVIL's BAR the next day with girls gang. Yeah, LADIES NITE, so there's free entry and drinks for ladies only. So GUYS, do u actually regret not being born as a woman??? At the club house, we saw some trannies there, dressed in mini-skirts and in cute ponytails, so do they get free entry too?
I drank 2 glasses of beer, ended up visiting the loo more often than before.
Here's some WORLD CUP comics done by me 2 years ago.
When World Cup meets Great Singapore Sale
click on them to see larger versions!
BTW, i've missed both events... :-( Entirely no mood for them.
Finally, I managed to upload my long-time ago comics, "FRIENDS" into my website!
See here!!
Can Paris Hilton sing?
She had this new single "Stars are Blind", a reggae-influenced song recently. It sounded alittle like "The Tide is High" by The Blondies. When I first heard it in the Yahoo Radio, it surprised me that the rich girl can really sing!!!
Hmm... I had no comments on her voice, just wondering why her "slutty" image managed to capture so much attention from the media that she turned into a fashion icon of perfume, jewellery... blah.. blah...
D.F is So SWEeeetttt~
Earlier on, I've been talking about this nice, hot guy Daniel Franco from Project Runway which I can't resist in finding out more things from him, I left a message in his Myspace showing my admiration for him. :-)
After this comment was added, he actually put on a song in his blog, titled "SINGAPORE" from an indie band named "The Beauvilles"
I bet he is trilled as well to know he has fans from a faraway land like SINGAPORE.
Anyway, isn't it so exciting to know someone so far and yet so close to u?
P.S: He is such a ladies-man and I really hope to meet up with him one day. :-)
Yakult or Vitagen?
Recently, our Star Search Champion, Felicia Chin has been overly exposed herself in commercials and tv dramas, almost catching up with our ad-gal, Fiona Xie.
Will drinking more of "Less Sugar" Vitagen makes people slim like her too?
An amatuer showing off...
I won't mind doing an advertisement like hers too, I'll represent Yakult then. :p
BTW, being slim comes from regular exercise and proper diet, not just plainly from a fermented drink.
I am head-over-heels over this guy...
click on the pic for his profile!
I've been catching the Project Runway Season 2, Daniel Franco came back after his first elimination in the 1st Season. Frankly speaking, I really adore his designs for its "clean cuts" and simplicity. He really has integrity and pride over his designs and did not let the show ruin his career. His maturity, diplomacy and calmness throughout the whole show really touched me alot. Strangely, the judges did not really like his lingerie designs and I thought they were good.... at least the most appealing and sexiest among the other 3 designs. But media is cruel, they kept Santino as he was one of the "actors" in the show that could "arouse" the whole team, creating conflicts, dramas, unpredictable emotions that could help to boost viewer's ratings.
After his elimination, he has managed to garner alot of fans!!! :D
Hee heee...I am one of them too!
BTW, he has a website that showcases his designs and a blog too!
I found back what I've lost...
My interest in drawing. I've finally found it back. It started off rusty, uneasy and intolerable and finally it's done! :)
Just happened to find these 2 pictures (pictures of Msn from 2 friends) similar~
Faces of blessed men... haha :D
