As usual, we would gather at my grandma's place for the reunion dinner.

This is my grandma.


She was feeling ogenki, dun worry. :)

Grandma looked stunning in her new cap... (well, she wore that to prevent the air from entering into her head) She was quite happy when all gathered and visited her.




There had been some changes this year, firstly, we saved alot of money in the chun lians. They were innovatively drawn by my 2 very creative cousins who had just learnt calligraphy. I guess the "big" wordings would help to chase those evil stuff away.




Next were the very creative decor designs on the wall. With family photo somemore. (Photo taken during my sis's wedding in 2004)

My auntie purposely designed the arrangements to look like those "clan" thing.


Steamboat at the corridors+loft lobby. Visitors were staring at us when coming out from the lifts bemused by our actions. It's quite cool to eat outside.















And lastly Yu sheng. We added those abalone (left-overs) to enhance the taste too. :)
















Next few days, I will be trying on the Hollywood 24-hr Miracle Diet to flush out all the good food. God Bless.

Speaking too much of Ah Beng's language...

I recently found my words in my blog harsh, but I've kept to the minimum and even replaced with * asteriks. U may think I'm writing vulgarities in the word "f***", actually I pronounced it as "fish"...

School has started. Life's back to normal.

Nabeh, the CORS system corked up because of some kiasu FT students who wanted to take the SS module, over-bidded.. ended up I had to appeal thru CORS. I'm not against FT students, but their selfish and kiasu attitude really pissed me off. They are also the noisest in class, which makes us lose concentration during lectures.

Can NUS do something?

Suddenly, I felt worried for my studies after calculating the no. of MCs remaining for my course. In average, I have to commit to at least 4 modules per semester. And to get Honours, the course must be completed within 4 yrs, 8 semesters. I've already completed the 1st. .... If FT students were to screw up the CORS and ended up that I failed to bid for that module.... what worse things can happen??

I overheard from a PT student that she successfully appealed for tuition grant from MOE and NUS. I thought PT students can't take tuition grant???? Hmm.... anyway, are there liabilities in taking up tuition grant? Is it the same as borrowing money from banks?

Afternote: I got the module, but that be another deduction of $900 from my bank account... what the hell... That's why we part-timers always managed to appeal successfully.

Happy New Year!!

Sis taught us (brother & I) how to make tiramisu this afternoon. However I was busy taking shots of the making. Only aided in some parts of the work like separating egg yolk and white, sieving the flour, cutting the sponge cake..... It was tedious, but fun.
