Sick during Chinese New Year

Even a cup of white chrysanthemum tea dun really help to cease the flu I had recently

As usual, I went to visit Chinese Doctor and had the usual tcm dosage. Western medicine tends to make u groggy so I wasn't taking an MC. Rested a whole day at home by taking leave but sadly had to travel to NUS to take the GEK quiz. I wasn't too prepared for it and I was having a fever half-way through the lecture.

It was Valentine's Day so I couldn't get a cab back, took mrt, traveled 3 hrs in total as a result of this auspicious festive season. Happen to see couples with the female counterpart carrying bouquets of roses and chirping away. It was
a sweet scene and it is amazing to see how high the price of flowers shot up this day.

sick and tired...

Time is ticking out, so are the timelines for the assignments and projects! My group members seemed to be slacking again and I am really tired to chase them to work. Seemed to be stuck in the wrong group again, I hope there are more individual projects in future so u won't be working with free-riders.

I was back to work the next day and everyone was concerned abt my health condition. I was really glad to have helpful colleagues nearby. Also helped to arrange a photo-taking session with our Senior Adviser, Mr Foo. C.S who is retiring on fri... I am so sorrie that I could not join the whole section for lunch as I was not feeling well. Hmm, here's the photo.

The Directors in front looking so tired... and sad..

I was somehow "forced" to stand beside Mr Elite... hmmm :-(

Well, have a fruitful Chinese New Year btw, it seemed abit too short!
