Allie saw Noah's sale of the house (with Noah pic) in the papers and went back to look for him. She reconciled with him and realised that Noah was the person missing in her life.... and she gave up the enagagement with the rich man. However, Allie suffered from Parkinson disease when she was becoming old... before her condition got any worse, she asked her husband Noah to read their love story to her when she forgets so Noah can "bring her back"... Noah suffered from severe heart problems but he endured the sufferings just to stay with his beloved wife in the nursing home. Allie's condition got worse.... eventually both of them embraced in the sleep and died together.... sob...sob.. :(
