The Problem with Circulars

When you type a long, comprehensive circular, tenants may not read it all.
And your Management says your circular should not be too long.

But they expect you to explain more things to tenants in the circular.

So which is which? Keep it long or keep it short?

Long, pple dun wanna read, but it contains pertinent information.

Short, pple say you are not explaining enough.

I'm trapped again... sigh...

Cool Compact Powder

Cool isn't it?

Like a handphone!!!

It is something like I've seen in "Sympathy For Lady Vengeance" where Guam Ja was looking at when talking to her friend abt her vengeance progress.

The mechanism is something like this

Selling for $52 at Laneige counters. It comes with a pink pouch and DIY jewel stickers. The powder's texture is very fine, silky, oil free and comes with SPF!! It means no more additional step to apply sunblock before makeup!!

Ghee, should I be tempted this time round?

Later he explained, "Because you said your occupation is "Stationery and Pantry Gal" mah.."

Heee, true, I definitely was. =p

The after effects of waking up too early

I woke up this morning feeling damn tired. My nose was running, head's heavy, body's heaty... the most obvious symptoms of fatigue. Just popped 2 panadols (non-drowsy formula) and went for work.

Dang... I felt awful. Wish the train ride was forever. I was sitting in a non-lady manner because I was soooo tired. Luckily I was wearing blue jeans.

Imagine from a "shu nu" like this...

can sit until like this.... !!!

like a man... legs open big big!!

Actually I felt quite comfortable to sit like this... :p

Am I tired?

It's strange..

Do I really have a tired look? Minfen always asked me what time I slept last nite. I told her 1am lor, it's my usual time of sleeping. She always think that I must be always studying very hard at nite, staring at my horrendous-looking eyebags. (=__=)

Sigh.. you think I want that meh?

I'm used to the hectic life already.

I'm not an early person, had trouble waking up in the morning. In fact, I am more energetic during nite time. (Too bad, exams are not held at nite) It wasn't the overdose of coffee, it was just my natural abililty to stay up late at nite. I know it wasn't too good to stay in this kind of lifestyle.

Funny.. why did everyone tell me to rest early when I am not tired. I just looked tired, that's all. I wanna talk more, joke more, laugh more.....

In order to return to the normal lifestyle, I tried putting myself on bed before 12am.

I ended up waking up at 5am the next morning....

WTH, wat's the use of sleeping so early when the hours of sleeping are the same?

Haha... :D

Moon's Prodigy?!! What the hell is that??

I've made a header, getting alittle vain so I've added my pic too.

It's good to have a theme for my blog, instead of moon's blog, I've amended to Moon's Prodigy.

Life's is a prodigy to me everyday, I was always pondering over this and that, making myself complexed everytime. Is there a way to relax and stop to think of "someone"?

The only way to forget about this jerk is to know another better guy. Yes, I'm looking forward to my new relationship now.

Wish me luck! :D

The British-accent sprouting Vampire in latex

Blimey!!

I recalled watching the first set of "UnderWorld", was expecting to see some sort of Romeo and Juliet theme, which "true love never did run smooth" type of movies. A love story between a lycan and vampire. Enemies by family name.....

Never did I realise that the show was crappy, not surprising and with poor CGI effects.

So, should I watch this sequel with the additional sex scene and more violence?

Hmm.... I have to admit that Kate Beckinsale is more than an eye-candy in her rubber tights. Posted by Picasa

An affair with cats, recently~

There were 2 new cats being abandoned at our block recently. One of them was a long and slender looking tabby-cat with a pretty tail. I invited her to my house for a meal too.. However, she had quite an attitude in choosing food. We gave her some of the left-over minced meat mixed with rice, she licked up the meat only and skipped the rest of the contents!!

Duhzzzz..... such a lousy attitude for a street-cat.

After eating, she lazed around on the piece of rag behind her, licking on her fur, keeping them clean and neat. My aunt then brought her down to where she should belong, as HDBs were not meant for a place to rear cats. (in fact, we do not have the time and money to take care of any animals)

This morning (I was on my way for work), I came across another little kitty with the same colour like the above. I squatted down to take a closer look, she actually jumped up and landed on my laps... haha.... it was so cute!! But I still had to let her go reluctantly as I was late for work...

I do hope some kind soul can adopt them. :-( Posted by Picasa

NUSSU NEWSFLASH
---------------------------------

Fee Hike

Dear fellow students,

The NUS Students’ Union (NUSSU) met with the University Administration on Friday, 10th February 2006, and was informed of an impending increase in tuition fees. The administration took efforts to explain the rationale of such an increase to us.

Despite our vigorous objection to the fee increase for AY2006/2007, remembering that the last fee increase was in AY2005/2006, the University Administration still deems such a measure necessary in order to keep up with cost increases. NUSSU is also disappointed that despite requests to be more involved in discussions for school policies affecting the students, there is no consultation before this fee hike is announced to the Union. Nevertheless, we are committed to exploring with the University Administration on viable ways of consultative engagement pertaining to school policies affecting our students.

The University Administration has given NUSSU the assurance that it will channel more money for financial aid for needy students in the form of bursaries and to fund new and innovative schemes such as the Subsistence Loan and the Work-Study Assistance scheme. Following the discussion with NUSSU, the administration has agreed to further increase this commitment – in total, the administration will be setting aside an additional $3million for financial aid schemes for AY2006/2007. NUS remains committed to ensuring that no deserving student is denied a tertiary education because of financial difficulty. More information about the financial packages may be obtained at the following link:
http://www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/sfau/main.htm

Similarly, NUSSU manages its own NUS Students’ Fund Bursary for needy students, more information of which may be obtained here:
http://nussu.nus.edu.sg/~nussf/index.htm

The last round of bursaries and book grants has just been awarded and the next round of applications will be from 1 September 2006 to 30 September 2006.
NUSSU remains committed in upholding the interests and welfare of the students. We value your feedback at (nussu_welfare@yahoo.com.sg) and will encourage active discussions in the IVLE portal, under the link: “Fee Hike Response”.

We thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

Regards,

Quek Boon Guan Danny
President
Executive Committee
27th NUSSU Council

Ghee, I dunno whether part-time students are affected.
Am I going to wear black too??

The weirdest test I've ever taken ~

I had my econs test on Sat, kind of bewildered by this question:

Your mother tells you, "Playing 2 hrs of computer games a game will make you stupid." Why is this a positive statement?

a) She says it with a positive tone in her voice.
b) It is a proposition that can be tested.
c) She really means that she does not think you should play so much computer games.
d) Your father agrees with her.
e) You must obey your mother.

I chose c.

Anyway, the whole paper was in such a mess. I dun feel too good. Most of the questions were not those u can find in text books. Mostly out of the lecturerer's own reasonings. He din even set a good paper as well, kept interrupting the whole test, telling us to amend this and that and din compensate us the time for his careless mistakes.

Anyway after the paper, I went for dinner with the "gals gang".

********************
I've received my test results, I've scored 25/39. And the answer for above question is b)... which in the first place I would think should be the correct answer. :p

********************
It was Lilian's Birthday, and at the same time to celebrate Evonne's belated birthday as well. We were supposed to meet at Parkway Parade, but I dunno the way to go.... so I called almost everyone up on how to go there. There was actually a free shuttle-bus service to Parkway from Bedok MRT.

Then we met and procceded to East Coast Park for dinner. Lilian said she wanted to treat us Seafood!!

Heee...heee...... :p

We had our dinner at this "NO SIGNBOARD" Restaruant

The service was quite slow despite the fact that they were not really crowded. And the waitress was rude too, initially. After the dinner, we strolled along the beach and stopped @McCafe for pep-talk.

Qiuhui bought a cake, it was YUMMY...~

HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAYS!!!

Gosh... I missed my 25th birthday too... :-)

I've made up my mind.

I want to be happy.

But if I wanna be happy, firstly, I must make other people happy right?

Because Life is in a big social cycle. Make friends, give concerns, help one another, and do not complain too much.

Do not expect the other to give u anything, think of what u got to offer.

However, there are still some people in this world that takes things for granted and never bother to think/reflect on their selfish actions.

This is what i have to do. Leave them (alone). Do not bother to scold them or teach them what to do. These people wouldn't change, no matter what. When u talk to such people, they think u r lecturing them and find u a bother/burden. And gifts to them are like shit.

There are some people that take advantage of your weakness and play around with you.

Who? I do not wish to comment.

Yar, in the first place, I've already made up my mind NOT to complain about them.

I had enough.

I wish to show more concern to those who sincerely deserve that. Family members & friends who care for me, dropped me an msn/sms when I am feeling down, fallen sick.

I wish to thank you all guys n gals... for all the love you all gave me. :D
